General Information

Rong obtained his PhD from Software Research Institute and Department of Mathematics of Sun Yat-sen (Zhongshan) University in Dec, 2004, and was a postdoctoral fellow in Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Feb, 2005 ~ Aug, 2007) and HP Labs (Aug 2007 ~ Sept, 2009). Since Oct 2009, he has been a faculty member of School of Information Science and Technology, Sun Yat-sen University.

My current research interests include data mining, machine learning and information retrieval.
